Up until now, your primary contact has likely been a member of our HR team, possibly even one of our co-founders. But at StarkSouk, every one of us is committed to ensuring your first few weeks are as smooth and enjoyable as possible.
Starting a new job can feel overwhelming, especially in a new environment. You’ll be learning new systems, meeting new colleagues, and adjusting to your role—all while possibly working remotely. Don't worry—we understand the jitters, and we're here to help you settle in comfortably.
We want your onboarding experience to be as enjoyable as it is informative. While we do have an office in Ahmedabad, we are currently a remote-active organization. This means you will likely meet most of your new colleagues virtually. Our goal is to make this onboarding process feel as connected and supportive as an in-person experience.

You’ll also be asked to introduce yourself to the team, either through a short intro video or during one of our weekly all-hands meetings. This is a great chance for your new colleagues to get to know you outside of the interview setting. We’re excited to meet the real you!
It’s your first day—welcome aboard!
We’re mindful not to overwhelm you with too much information or too many names and processes on your first day. Instead, you’ll focus on the essentials, such as:
If your first day falls on a Monday, you’ll likely join our informal all-hands meeting. If it’s another day of the week, you’ll have a brief introductory call with someone from your immediate team. Your team lead may also schedule hello calls with other teams throughout the day.
And that’s it for Day 1! Feel free to wrap up your day when you feel ready. There’s no pressure to stay connected for the entire day.
