In the creative industry, one common challenge for companies, studios, and agencies is managing revisions and changes from clients. Our goal is to maintain transparency about how we handle revisions and approvals to ensure a smooth and efficient process for both parties.
1. Concepts vs. Revisions
- Concepts: A concept is a unique design we present for a specific project scope, such as logo design, UI design, packaging design, brand collaterals, or marketing assets.
- Variations: A variation is the different use cases or different ideation of a particular unique concept.
- Revisions: Revisions refer to changes requested by the client to a chosen concept. The number of concepts provided is outlined in the project agreement, depending on the scope.
2. Number of Revisions Included
Each project includes a defined number of revisions based on the type of design work:
- Static Design: Up to 3 rounds of revisions for static designs (e.g., logo identity, branding collaterals, marketing assets, packaging design, store design, UI design).
- Dynamic Design: Up to 2 rounds of revisions for dynamic designs (e.g., logo animation, motion identity, animation videos, website animations, product explainer videos).
Revisions must be specific, clearly communicated, and within the scope of the original project. Any revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
3. Revision Process
- Upon receiving client feedback, our team will make the requested changes and submit the revised version within 1 business week.
- To avoid delays or conflicting feedback, clients are encouraged to provide consolidated input from all stakeholders, ensuring it is clear and specific.
4. Approvals
- After revisions are completed, we will send the updated design to the client for approval.
- Clients are expected to approve or request further changes within 2-3 business days of receiving the revised version.
- Delayed approvals may impact the overall project timeline.
5. Additional Revisions
- If additional revision rounds are required beyond the included revisions (3 for static designs, 2 for dynamic designs), extra charges will apply.
